Tineke Thio

Climate Communicator

Tineke Thio is the founder of the community organization, Princeton Climate Change.

Tineke received her bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. For 12 years she worked at the NEC Research Institute in Princeton, New Jersey, where she investigated various topics in nanophotonics and condensed matter physics, most applicable to high-density data storage. She is currently a science and technology consultant traveling the world to communicate the impact of global climate change.
